Great leaders always have their own magic tricks which make them respectable and outstanding in the organization. Let’s observe how they think, and how they take action to find out where the tricks are lying.
A limited budget brings good news.
It seems to be absurd, but great leaders consider limited budget as good news because this is a challenge for them to:
What a great leader can learn from a magician?
The MAGIC word always provides interesting lessons for business people under these meanings:
M = Magicians become great through practice. Great leaders constantly develop their thinking, their coaching skills, communication techniques and understanding of the world.
A = Audience participation: Magicians draw people in by incorporating them into their show. Great leaders "draw in" employees by including them in the strategy, the discussions of ideas to encourage them to think that they’re playing an important part of the show.
G = Get close to the audience: Great magicians never keep long distance from the audience. They walk around to carry out their performance... Great leaders don’t hide in their offices. They are constantly talking to their employees to share their ideas, viewpoints as well as strategies of the company, so that they can get the valuable contributions from employees.
I = Ingenuity: Magicians do not do the same show. They continue to surprise the audience, they change their style, and content... they keep the audience guessing. This is true for great leaders. They find new ways of communicating the message, of explaining the goals, of keeping people engaged with the vision.
C = Cherish the values: The magic circle has its own values, and people will be admitted to the circle once they adhere to these values. Leaders can learn from this approach: cherish the values of the company, and select people who appreciate those values to develop the organization effectively.
Great leaders create a magical working environment that encourages employees to work better. They can inspire people to achieve what seems to be impossible. In reality, there’s nothing magical in any magic performance, and there’s no magic in leadership. When you treat people tactfully, magic will happen… people will be engaged and turn the impossible into possible.
